Again, Criminals get the Accolades, while victims get the Knife blade, in a Justice system judged one of the worst in Crime versus Punishment across Canada and probably in the Free World. Repeat Criminals get a 2 for 1 credit for time served while awaiting trial, Victims get a life sentence.
Is it any wonder there are vigilantes in this world, and Police agencies not trying real hard to catch vigilantes because let's face it, overstressed officers and the public are tired of seeing repeat criminals out on the streets time and time again committing crimes take drastic measures, such as police brutality because no matter how many times they arrest them, easy jail sentences by the Courts does not seem to have any redeeming effect.

The recent labelling of repeat criminals by Vancouver Police, such as Super Criminals for 12 offences in a year makes everyone wonder why Criminals are walking our streets after the second offence?
Perhaps it is high time to name inept Court Justices and post their Photos in News Hall of Shame in order to embarrass them publicy for stealing our Tax Dollars in the form of a paycheque for a job they are obviously not doing.
The B.C. Court of Appeal has told lower court judges that criminals deserve two-to-one credit for the time they spend in pre-sentence custody.
In an important guideline-setting judgment, the five justices unanimously said the double- time benefit should be bestowed because of the unfairness of imprisonment before conviction and the difficult conditions prisoners face in holding jails.
In other words, if offenders spend six months in remand, they will get a year taken off their punishment except in rare circumstances.
