Ben Brown, Baton Rouge Accountant, Mysteriously Missing

Update: Benjamin Brown's body has now been found.

Ben Brown, a 28-year-old accountant from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, mysteriously went missing from his office early Wednesday morning and has not been seen since.

Benjamin Brown left his house to go to work at about 5:00 am as he wanted to study for an accounting test that afternoon. His wife, Ragan Brown, got up at 6:30 am that morning and called his cell phone, but Ben never answered. 

Detectives have reviewed surveillance tapes and they show Ben walking in to the office at 8550 United Plaza Blvd at 5:20 am on Wednesday morning. He did make it in to his office as some items were found on his desk, but surveillance tapes do not show him leaving the building. His car is also still at the office.

There are no signs of suspicious activity. His personal belongings are still in his office as well, but he never made it to class that afternoon for his test.

Benjamin Brown is 5'7" and is a caucasian male with brown hair, blue eyes, and weighs about 170 lbs. Anyone with any information is asked to call the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office at 225-389-5000 or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
