Bermuda Circles the Drain : Furby-E Brown's latest House n**** 
I'm not surprised in the least that Wayne Furbert is trying to make a move over to the PLP. I am slightly surprised that he's doing it now, particularly as about a year ago we had a conversation outside my office while he was doing coffee deliveries that went something like this:
CD: So Wayne, when are you going to join the PLP?
WF: Christian, the one thing that I'll say is that I will not cross the floor.
CD: Sure, so you'll do it when the next election is called rather than between elections. But you're still going to go switch to the PLP.
WF: As I said, I won't cross the floor.
CD: Same difference.
And across he goes.
I tend to agree with Corey Butterfield on ZBM News this evening; this diminishes whatever stature Wayne had left after his public tearjerkers, and it is more than a bit bizarre to have a former leader of a party switch over.
I'm not sure it's a big win for Dr. Brown as Corey suggested, unless of course he can get Wayne to vote for gambling, but he might struggle with that because of his churchiness. But to be honest, he's already running a pyramid scheme, so a casino is a step up.
One more PLP seat doesn't really change the math, and like Jamahl Simmons who switched and to a lesser extent Grace Bell, he'll never be brought completely in the PLP fold and will always be seen as an outsider and a disgruntled opportunist. It's difficult to see him ever having any influence or position of importance within the PLP.
He knows he can't win as an independent. So this is simply Survivor: Bermuda.
UPDATE: a 24 year Jamaican national has died as a result of his injuries sustained in the Friday night triple shooting.

Rampant shootings are a fairly recent occurrence in Bermuda, with numbers climbing at an alarming rate. This week is one of [if not the] worst week in Bermuda’s history for gun violence.

wayne furbert has teeny tiny mouse balls that's why hes thrown away any credibility or integrity he may have had to jump on the pay check ,gravy train,money wagon of the plp instead of making his independence status in the house count for something by being a political spoiler and introducing bills that actually help the non elite Bermudians people.
this move shows that he is in it to collect a paycheck, without regard to how the constituents in Hamilton Parish West voted.
This is just another example of the depths to which this Island has sunk in the last 4 years,as Bermuda Culture Swirls Down the Drain. (Three men were shot outside a bar in Hamilton this evening...six men burst into a house in Bulkhead Drive in Warwick, brandishing a gun and a Samurai sword.)
He's a perfect fit for the Ewart Brown Gang of corrupt thievish thugs , screw the people and Island, he's in it for himself.
According to the news rumors, he wants to be Minister of Tourism and Transport when E rat leaves to retire a multi-millionaire,from plundering,pillaging and raping Bda. Inc.
Proof he is in politics for all the current right reasons
Ex UBP; refused membership to the B.D.A., welcomed by the PLP.
If Duane Dill is a B.D.A. House n**** according to Rolfe, then Wayne must be the PLP House n****
This PLP Government has to be the epitome of moral degradation, deceit, incompetence and sleaze.
All the Cabinet Ministers and MP's are equally culpable, even Dale Butler who resigned his Cabinet post, but remains an MP.
Now let's sit back and see if there are any PLP members out there who have any principles and ethics and stand up and publicly denounce this despicable opportunist, and the PLP for welcoming him
