The Opposition has pledged to grill Government over the costs of the new cruise ship pier in this legislative session.

Shadow Tourism and Transport Minister Michael Dunkley referred to the soaring costs 70 percent over budget as an "abomination".

Government losses are in the billions of dollars.

PLP projects like Tourism, Berkeley, Dockyard, Uighurs, KEMH, Morgan's Point, new Police station, Music Festival, PGA Grand Slam, education and dozens more, the Government losses are in the billions of dollars. There is no chance Bermuda will ever show a positive financial return on anything the PLP has done to-date. The PLP have made only losing investments using Bermuda taxpayer's money.

Then you have the likes of the Zane Desilva's and Dennis Correia's and others who have been allowed to take more money from the taxpayer's pocket thanks to a Government that ignores good economic practice with a "no-return required" attitude.
