To flip or to flop, that is the question: in a cynical bid to win re election, the plp are now using failed businessman & former UBP ,Wayne Furbert, as New Minister to lead the Department of Tourism . Widely know as Flip Flop furbert,the Pillsbury Dough-boy!

Wasting millions on more useless schemes with nothing to show for it, Bermuda Department of Tourism is over staffed with plp cronies,after 14 years of plp it is an abysmal failure,with 75% of it's $40 million budget spent on salaries.!

Sprung Broke: yet another failed plp promotion ,Taxpayer's have pay for Flip Furberts flop The beach covered in seaweed deserted,in 50's temp & winds of 50 MPH .most of the "visitors" here for the spring break are actually Bermudian students.DOT advertising video was obviously shot during summer and bears no resemblance to the weather we get in February which is always cold and damp!

What's needed is a non governmental Tourism Authority that would be paid on performance.

Millions have been wasted on travel for bands,gombeys ,freebie junkets on borrowed money funded by the suffering taxpayer, first class travel, credit cards, 5 star hotels,how sweet it is to be on the plp friends & family plan.

plp govt elites,are constantly flying off on trips,instead of addressing the crisis of International Business exodus,and the explosion of unemployment & crime!

Premier Cogs in Grenada,Flip Flop Furberts in Bahamas this week ,last week it was Diamonds and Caviar Gala,this week it's St. Kitts Club reunion,strutting around the Caribbean like bantam roosters while Bda Inc. sinks. wasting YOUR BORROWED TAX MONEY! debt interest cost of $263,000/day

Bermuda Tourism is the Titanic that has hit an iceberg, in plp's race to the bottom ,don't expect anything but platitudes ,promises & empty rhetoric from the pigs at the trough ,they get a pay check regardless of being grossly incompetent & highly paid for it!

.Bermuda spends ten times more promotion & advertising than other places for tourists.

Today's headlines "Bermuda Wins Top Destination Award",this is BS meaningless spin & photo op for the plp re election campaign.

Only the elitist plp regime's "we had to deceive you" tactic to exaggerate & bald face lie to the Bermudian people so slimy, so arrogant that they lie in face of No tourists, 5 star prices ,and no night life!

The deserve the Pinocchio's award to deceive, manipulate,and blind em with Bullshit.

We can expect much more of this as the election nears,next Cog will label herself & govt. as "jobs creators"

Jamaica has topped the region again ,Expedia's number one destination partner award.Bermuda doesnt even come close !

Seems to be a marketing award, meaning that Bermuda is marketed well according to Expedia's standards which has little to do with the dismal record of millions wasted on useless schemes ,pink buses,dog & pony shows to inflate plp politicians egos
