It appears that Bernie Madoff, or as he has been dubbed now Bernie "the Bruiser" Madoff, has trouble making friends not only outside jail but inside as well.  It is reported that he got in a shoving match with another inmate that escalated from an argument about stocks.  The Other man was of a similar build and age.  Bernie was apparently quite angry and got the best of the other inmate.
Before heading to prison Bernie hired prison coaches to teach him how to survive.  Some told him to be respectful while apparently others didn't.
A professional prison coach warned that Bernie may be in for another few brawls:

Buntner is a particularly nasty place. “All eyes are going to be on him,” he said.  Some of Bernie’s victims could conceivably hire inmates to exact revenge.  “If you screw someone over for a $100 million,” said Oberfest, “They will find someone on the inside to get even with you…..That’s just the way it is.”

Bernie is a real pit bull. Maybe he can get a professional NFL player to manage him?
