Bertha Wanders - Now Extratropical! Iceland on Monday! by René

Icleand Weather Underground graphicsUPDATES: Bertha has been downgraded again, still with winds of 70 mph and moving at 36 mph. Bertha is now Tropical Storm and considered 'ExtraTropical.' This is the Last Advisory to be issued by the National Hurricane Service on Bertha.

See the really cool Flash Storm Tracker on the Iceland Weather Underground!

Bertha still a Hurricane, picking up speed and moving at 25 mph, will hit Iceland Monday. Will it downgrade as predicted. Hmmmm? Bertha is the longest lasting tropical storm on record.

Bertha has upgraded to Hurricane again, with winds around 75 mph, and looks like it's headed straight for Iceland!

Though the advisory suggests it might degrade in the next few days. Maybe.

-------

Bertha has been downgraded to Tropical Storm and is still 190 miles south of Bermuda.
