Biden makes quiet entrance into DC homeless shelter
Vice President shows humility and grace before homeless in DC
On Friday, United States Vice President Joe Biden, in an act of grace and humility, went to serve about one hundred homeless men at a DC shelter.
Making a quiet entrance into the Father McKenna homeless center near the US Capitol, Biden , dressed in a cap and sweater, put on an apron and began to serve fishsticks to the men.
He frequently volunteers to help the homeless at hishome state in Delaware, and he wanted to make sure that while in Washington, he didn’t forget about the thousands of the homeless in our nation. The Vice President dressed to blend in, wearing a black baseball cap, sweater and khakis. Biden said made the visit, because “”you’ve got to remind yourself that but for the grace of God there goes I.” “Sometimes you forget that this is real,” he added.
Biden inquired where he could quietly help the homeless and was directed to the nearby Father McKenna Center.
“I wanted to do this. I asked where I could do this without a lot of fanfare and they told me I could do it here,” he said.

Good for Joe. He may run his mouth, but he seems a normal guy, unlike many of the political persuasion.

I always knew Biden was a good pick for VP. He may be rich but he has class and compassion for people. Way to go Joe!!

Biden is hardly rich. In fact, he has a net worth, sans house, of less than a hundred G's. Poverty stricken, by DC politician standards.

Yes he does Hugh. And Marianmo, you're right too. God forbid someone takes out Obama, but if that happened, I'd gladly support Joe as Prez

I'm beginning to think Biden would've made the better President.
