Bihar: 10 dead in stampede on Navaratri

Patna, Oct 17: 10 people were dead and many more were seriously injured in a stampede at a Durga temple in Bihar during Navaratri celebration on Saturday, Oct 16.

District magistrate, Aadesh Chitarmare informed, "Ten deaths have been confirmed so far."

Around 30,000 devotees had thronged the temple at Tildiha village for offering prayers and sacrificing goats when the stampede occurred
