Bill Board Will Unveil Missing Person Cold Case
Connecticut woman remains missing, case heats up

Wilmington, NC – Mary Badaracco vanished on August 20, 1984 and for her family things have never been the same. The struggle to over come her disappearance continues to linger on. Over the years her children have sought justice for her case and enduring the daily pressure in the search to locate their mother. Now, with help from others a renewed effort is underway with the erection of a bill board that will soon show their mother in life size. “I am so over whelmed with the generosity of people, even after all this time, people still care”, said Beth Profeta, Badaracco’s daughter.

The bill board will be located on route 37 in Danbury, Connecticut and is scheduled to be up the week of February 9, 2009; the family will be present at the site when notification of the exact date is announced. “No matter how old a case maybe, awareness campaigns such as this one can still help reach out to communities for information concerning the missing”, said CUE’s founder, Monica Caison. “We remain hopeful that the continued efforts made in this case will one day aid investigators in solving this crime”, she added.
