Bill Sparkman: Kentucky Census Worker Death Ruled a Suicide

Bill Sparkman, the Kentucky census worker that was found dead hanging from a tree, has had his death ruled a suicide. Authorities released the results of their investigation and found that Bill Sparkman manipulated his death scene to make it seem like something other than a suicide.

It was initially believed that Bill Sparkman's death may have been sparked by anti-government sentiment. Sparkman's dead body was bound with duct tape and hanging from a tree with the word "fed" written on his chest. Several theories were bandied about regarding the death of Bill Sparkman, but police now say that Bill Sparkman staged his death.

Investigators said that prior to his death Bill Sparkman had talked about suicide and about anti-government sentiment in the rural area where he worked.
