Madan Mohan Sharma thanked the party for nominating him and said that party activists ought now to gear up earnestly for the Lok Sabha elections. What is Eco Tax?
Eco tax is basically not a tax but an entry fee whch the tourists will have to pay on entering Mussoorie. The tax will be on the vehicle and not per head.It could vary from Rs 20 to Rs 100.According to the chairman of the council the tax is necesaary as the money collected will go on ecological issues like solid waste management and plantation.the debate is on to levy the tax in the town or not?

I do think that this Eco-Tax is a good idea, if administered properly and I can relate to the frustration felt due to some opposing it just for the sake of it with out any foundation nor counter proposal. We do have similar problem here in Chiba Kent.
