Another black bear has been caught within city limits. The bear was spotted early Tuesday morning by a newspaper delivery man in the Fort Richmond area of Winnipeg, Manitoba. When police arrived, the bear scurried up a tree in front of a home at 90 Laval Drive, which is just south of the University of Manitoba. Conservation officials successfully tranquilized the bear and plan on releasing it back into the wild by tomorrow. Earlier this month a black bear was spotted in the North Kildonan suburb of Winnipeg and released back into the wilderness the next day. Manitoba Conservation says they get about three bear incidents each year.
