Blagojevich: I'm On The "Wrong Planet"
Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich says if what he's done is an impeachable offense, he's living on the "wrong planet" and is in the "wrong place."
Speaking to a WLS-TV reporter outside a Chicago law office, the governor said he was hired to fight for the people of Illinois and that's what he's been doing. The interview marked the first time Blagojevich has spoken to the media since giving a defiant three-minute speech last Friday in which he said he'll fight the forces against him until he takes his last breath.
"Look, if I'd have known people were listening, I probably wouldn't have said some of the things you say in private conversations," Blagojevich said Friday. "But I think there's probably tens of millions of people across America that talk like that from time to time."
"Even in this process, without saying too much, that was all about trying to end up with the right decision that could do the most things for the people of Illinois, and when the full truth is told, you will see precisely that," Blagojevich said.
"If somehow that's impeachable, then I'm on the wrong planet and I'm living in the wrong place," he said.

it's funny only George Bush and his administration is exempt from the law.

The only thing that would render this joke of a governor unimpeachable is blackmail. And he and his wife both seem like the type that would do anything to hang on to their power. What an embarrassment to the state of Illinois. Now they want to take the whole Obama administration down with them. Obama wanted nothing to do with this guy which is why he made the comment that Obama "wouldn't play". This guy is a cartoon character. He is a throwback to the 1940's Chicago mob days.

Blago is on the right planet, but 1000 years too late. Civilization has moved on.

Gov. B. is on the wrong planet indeed! Too bad for the people of Illinois. Hopefully he won't be able to taint the Obama Administration before it even gets started.

well this reminds me of the article someone else posted about how people tend to develop along the lines of their own environments...in the environment of the last eight years it seems to me what blagovich was doing was the same thing the bush military industrial complex was doing except so far blagovich didn't kill anybody.
