27 June 2009 Dhanbad, India: People of Dhanbad registered a violent protest against the lack of LAW and Order condition of the Coal Capital of India Dhanbad in the State of Jharkhand , India.

In last couple of days 3 murder of prominent businessman of Dhanbad has broke the peoples calm. Two of the person was abducted and huge extortion fees were claimed from them. These are now a common part of the people’s life and no one knows who will be the next victim.

Business community has protested to the police superintendent and observed a Bandh (strike) to show solidarity with the people. Some major political party also supported the strike. Even the Para military force was not able to cross the Bank more (major public place in Dhanbad) due to violent public protest.

This is the time that state government must act and stop all anti national anti people activities. Dhanbad is known as Mafia capital of India also. Coal mafias are the ruler of the place and every one lives under their mercy.
