I never liked a blue sky salesman---they never speak about cloudy days. But most people want to hear only the good news so a successful salesman piles it on thick. There is a presidential campaign now going on in which two salesmen are competing for the job of president of the United States Of America. Unfortunately the one that promises the most blue skies will get the job.

All presidents are beholden to business groups that helped get them elected. Because without their support they would never have become the chief executive. Presidents have to pay back supporters with government goodies, every investor deserves a piece of the pie. A popular president makese sure his supporters get a decent return for their investment. But unfortunately there are always investors left behind. They are the ones that badmouth the president the most.

The average person has a hard life with bills that never seem to be paid. It is an uphill struggle being on our own without any help. We all wish that we had a big brother to aid us in that struggle, but volunteers are in short supply. It would be a better world if we were all our brothers and sisters keepers, but Mother Nature had different plans for us. It is difficult to face the reality that we are left to be on our own, but there is a guy now running for president who promises to change that reality. He offers us hope that we will not be on our own. I pray that he is not just another blue sky salesman

I believe in the American Dream and have had the good fortune to have it fulfilled. It took a lot of job searching until I was hired by a firm that made my dream of being able to pay my own rent a reality. I was aware that my dream would have become a nightmare if the owner of the firm that hired me did not also have a dream,it was to become a rich person. I never bite the hand that feeds me and I remained a loyal employee until my retirement. the photo of my former boss hangs on my living room wall--he will always be my God and Savior.

There is hardly any credit given to the most valuable people in the american economy---they are the individual investors that create the jobs we need.Without their wisdom we would have no hope of finding a better life. It is not the duty of governments or its presidents to support us. We are basically on our own and the only hope we can have is that our business people can become successful. If they do, we are sure to have the good jobs that pay the costs of our America Dream.
