BMW Appears on 'Mickelson in the Morning'
If you tuned in to Des Moines’ Newsradio 1040 WHO-AM this morning, you heard me talking about a recent post, Was Symbol on Outhouse Door First Visible Sign of Americans’ Feelings Toward Radical Muslims?, during the 10 a.m. (Central) segment of Mickelson in the Morning.
Jan Mickelson, Iowa’s most-prolific conservative radio talk show host, asked me to back up my contention that the appearance of the crescent moon and star symbol on outhouse doors in America during the early 19th century may have been the first visible sign of how many Americans felt — and, indeed, still feel — toward radical Muslims. We talked for about 15 minutes.
If you’re not familiar with his name, this might ring a bell: Mickelson gained worldwide fame one year ago for his interview of then-presidential candidate Mitt Romney (click here for details).
This marked my third appearance on the show of Iowa’s most-prolific conservative radio talk show host:
- On Sept. 19, 2007, I discussed the “Don’t taze me, bro!” phenomena that followed a University of Florida student’s encounter with the business end of a campus police officer’s taser (See Blogger to Appear on ‘Mickelson in the Morning’).
- On Aug. 7, 2007, I came on to discuss my SAVE THE BIPOLAR BEAR! merchandise line introduced via this post.
