A Boeing 787 Dreamliner Test Plane Had to Make an Emergency Landing in Laredo Texas
According to the SeattleTimes, the pilot had to make an emergency landing after he smelled smoke in the cockpit.
About 30 to 40 people had to be evacuated using the emergency slides, but everyone got out safely.
"The aircraft landed at Laredo at about 2:54 Central Time," said FAA spokesman Lynn Lunsford. "The aircraft was evacuated on the runway. They pulled the slides."
They are now determining what caused the smoke in the cockpit.
