Bomb Attack Kills Pakistani General

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan AP - A bomb exploded on a busy road near Pakistan's capital on Monday,
killing an army general and two other people, state television reported.

The blast occurred on Mall Road, a busy thoroughfare in Rawalpindi, a city just south of Islamabad where the Pakistani military has its headquarters.
Lt. Gen. Mushtaq Baig, the army's surgeon general, was reported killed along with his driver and a guard.
