Bomb Blast in Boralasgamuwa Sri Lanka

A bomb blast in Boralasgamuwa near Piriwena Junction(Piliyandala Main Road) targeting a High Profile Minister in Sri Lanka at about 1.15 PM 9th October 2008.Minister of of Agricultural Development & Agrarian Services Development and General Secretary of Sri Lanka Freedom Party, Maithripala Sirisena saved his life narrowly.1 person died and 7 injured in the blast including Deputy Minister Siripala Gamlath minor injuries.Secretary of Agriculture Ministry Mr.Ranjith Wijethilaka in a critical condition.
Minister Sirisena was coming to Colombo after official ceromony(Wapmagul Festival) at Bandaragama and female LTTE Suicide attacker jumped to the road and blew herself when the Vehicle come.It is reported Minster has changed his vehicle and came to colombo another and it save his life.This was happend after a 3 days of Anuradhapura Blast.LTTE try to change the Sri Lankan troop's successfull journey to their Heart Kilinochchi.
