Bomb blast kills colonel and 2 soldiers in Assam:India
Bomb Blast is not new in India, but reason behind every blast varies from zone to zone. Some where it is Islamic Fundamentalist, some where it is Maoist, but in this case it is bit different. The groups in north Eastern India states want separate statehood and they are targeting the forces there to hit the headline on regular basis.
Several theories exist that suggest the involvement of foreign forces in the North Eastern unrest. They are trained in Bangladesh by the Pakistan Based Islamic group. Why they are doing this, it is know to all.
In latest incident they killed colonel along with two soldiers, in remote area of Asaam.
Two army soldiers, including a colonel, were killed in a powerful landmine explosion in Assam on Monday, officials said. (
A defence spokesperson said the army vehicle hit the landmine near the Balipara reserve forest area in Sonitpur district, about 210 km north of Assam's main city of Guwahati.
"The impact of the landmine was severe with the vehicle blown up, killing the colonel and his driver on the spot," an army commander said.
The remaining vehicles in the convoy were safe as they stopped the moment they saw one of the vehicle hit by the landmine.
"The colonel was on his way to his base at Tenga in adjoining Arunachal Pradesh, bordering China, when the incident occurred," the army official said.
Army and police teams have since cordoned off the area and launched a hunt. Police blame the outlawed National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) for the attack. "It could be possible it was the handiwork of the NDFB," a senior police official said.
There are already intelligence inputs about militants trying to stage violent attacks ahead of the Independence Day.

Bomb Blast and related killing are so frequent that now a days they lost its breaking news value. The hype dies once debris get cleared. We don't talk till the next blast.

I am big fan of Peace between Pakistan and India. Irrespective of the differences, innocent blood should not prevail. Any life is important and should be recongnized. I also am ashamed at both nations that keep on finger pointing at each other. The social and moral fabric has now been colored with blood. We must end this kind of uncivilized target killing. I rather support India and Pakistan for peace. Visit my blog http://buildpakistantogether.blogspot.com/ for future articles regarding peace.
