A flight attendant found a note which read "Bomb onboard. Boston to Miami" on American Airlines Flight 1318 at 2:30 pm Wednesday. The flight was pre-boarding when the note was discovered in the lavatory, and all passengers were taken off the plane. The plane was searched, but no bomb was found.

The plane was moved to an empty part of the Logan airport in Boston, and all bags were spread out on the ground and inspected by K-9 units. At 4pm, it was determined there was no bomb on the plane, and it was cleared to fly.

Phil Orlandella at Massport, which runs Logan airport, said the passengers were taken to Miami on another plane.

"No bombs, devices or anything else of suspicious nature was found. The flight has been cleared to continue to Miami," said Dave Procopio, of the Massachusetts State Police.
The aircraft arrived in Boston from Dallas earlier in the day.
