We can whine all we want about tighter security at border crossings, but the fact remains that if you are entering another country legally, then you have very little to worry about. The story posted here makes my heart feel good.
ALDERGROVE (NEWS1130) - A 47 year old California man has been charged with smuggling weapons across the Aldergrove border crossing.
Canada Border Services says the man and his wife were going through B.C. to Alaska and were also bringing along over a thousand switchblades. He was fined $2,500.
In 2007, Canada Border Services Agents seized close to 7,400 weapons out of our province, including 514 switchblades.

tbphotos, I like this story. It's good stuff. Now that's a switch, I heard about this today on 1130, certainly if one transgresses our laws, they will be punished and placed inside an Iron Coffin, with Spikes on the inside. Thanks for the story TB
