When I read this juicy bit of news about Ian Clements and his beautiful Chinese spy I found myself mouthing "Why is he telling this story, its really something one would want to keep under wraps"

Did he sell the story is he strapped for cash, or is he just a stupid fame seeker or does he want to be seen as a James Bond.

She was not a very good spy as she forgot to make it look like a crime, chinese spies are not stupid. She was just a hooker of whom probally just took the money he owed here out of his wallet 300 Juan is the going rate I believe. Perhaps she just took out her card so she could use it again and because he did not make love to her she did not charge him.

I really don't believe the story is tolally true and I think Ian is looking for fame.

Boris Johnson's former deputy has admitted he fell for a beautiful Chinese spy when he was on an official visit to the Beijing Olympics.

Ian Clement met the secret service girl at an official party at last year's opening ceremony.

They had sex in his Beijing hotel room - but Clement believes he was drugged and came round to discover his room had been ransacked.

The former deputy mayor of London told the Sunday Mirror it was a classic honey-trap.

'I fell for the oldest trick in the book,' he said today.

'Before I went out I had to be briefed by MI6. They told me about honey-traps and warned me that the Chinese secret service often use women to entice men to bed to get information. I didn't think for one minute that I would fall for it.'

The 44-year-old - who had a partner back in the UK at the time - was on a Government trip to build potential contracts with investors for the London 2012 Games and was accompanying Tessa Jowell.
