Hooded men killed 15 people on a ranch in Guaira, Parana , Brazilian southern State, border with Paraguay. The gunmen fled by boat to neighboring country. Police in both countries were searching for the suspects, some of whom were identified by survivors as drug gang members.

Police say hooded gunmen have killed 15 people on an alleged drug trafficker's ranch in southern Brazil.

Federal police officer Claudio Cesar says five assailants invaded the ranch Monday in Guaira, in the state of Parana.

Cesar says the suspected trafficker and two of his sons are among the 15 dead. Five people were wounded, two of them seriously.

The gunmen apparently fled by boat to neighboring Paraguay

Luiz Castro, I like this story. It's good stuff. This is obviously not the "Fazenda da Esperanca", what I know from Brazil. On the country side in general you have not even to close your housedoor for security in Brazil. Drugs make too much money.
