SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) - Brazilian state media say the country's president and Supreme Court chief will meet this week to review accusations that intelligence agents illegally tapped the phones of top government officials.The Agencia Brasil news service says President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Supreme Court president Gilmar Mendes will discuss a report by Veja news magazine. The report alleges that agents routinely tapped phones of top officials, including Mendes, close Silva associates and congressmen.Brazil's Intelligence Agency has vowed to investigate the claims. Calls seeking confirmation from spokesmen for the president and the Supreme Court were not returned on Sunday.
