Caracas, Venezuela, 10 October 2008.According to Telesur, Brazilian President Lula da Silva has decided to back his Cabinet Chief,  Dilma Rousseff, as his preferred candidate for the presidential elections in 2010. This backing decision needs the endorsement of the Brazilian Workers Party before been official.  Another presidential hopeful and Major of Sao Paulo, Marta Suplicy, did not count with Lula´s favouring touch. 60 year old Dilma Rousseff is an economist turned politician after performing as  guerrilla fighter against the military dictatorship in the mid 1960s . She was appointed Energy Minister by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Lula) in his first cabinet in 2003. On June 15, 2005 she was appointed Lula's Chief of Staff.

rahul, I like this story. It's good stuff.

I found that increadble, he decided? What about the memebers of the PT? It's such a stalinism, don't you think?

Lula may decide he wants Dilma, but let's see what the people will decide!

humm

This article has changed quite a bit since I was commenting here few weeks ago. This new paragraph talking about the PT approbation is very interesting.

But anyway, that will not be a problem; PT is a party of one leader, whatever Lula says they will do.
