Brazil President Lula Corruption Scandal , Again

Mr. Lula da Silva, President of Brazil, is always surrunded by corruption scandals, but it is like an old movie, we all know the end, usually a fake happy end.

Dilma Roussef, his Gabinet Chief, is accused of receiving 5.0 Millon Dollars for be negligent on Varig ( Brazilian Airline) sale off process.

His former Gabinet Chief, Jose Dirceu, left the position under a big corruption scandal few years ago.

Lula is very popular for his social programs, but his governament is imerse on curruption scandals. Almost all of his ministers were or are envolved on corruption acusations, but that is always a simple coincidence.

A new scandal erupted within President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's inner circle yesterday as his top aide was accused of trying to squelch a probe into a possible violation of laws limiting foreign airline ownership.

The allegations by Denise Abreu, formerly of Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency, create a problem for Silva, who has so far stayed popular by dodging allegations of corruption among senior aides.

Abreu told the Estado de S. Paulo newspaper that the president's chief of staff, Dilma Rousseff, told her not to query the percentage of foreign involvement in the Varilog group that first bought Varig's cargo arm and later the bankrupt airline's healthy assets.

"I asked to see all the documents necessary to demonstrate the origin of the money being offered in the bid," Abreu said.

"The charges are false," Rousseff responded.
