Update: Lest you froget, Kilpatrick is the mayor who carpet-bombed Detroit with the "N-word" as he lashed out at critics and investigators. Kilpatrick, who has a history of blaming his problems on racism, is under extreme fire for not only the alleged crimes, but links to reported wild parties--and, it is rumored, the death of one witness.
However, Kilpatrick will have a hard time playing the racist card. Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy is black.
Ironically, the Kilpatrick indictments are another example of why powerful men trip over their penises, as reported earlier today on NowPublic.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy announced this morning that she is charging Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick with 12 felonies including perjury, obstruction of justice and misconduct in office in the text-messaging scandal rocking the city.
