The Governing ANC [African National Congress] of South Africa has told Zimbabwean President Mugabe to release the results of the Presidential Elections. The ANC has talked about "a dire situation with negative consequences for Southern Africa" even though South African President Mbeki has refused to recognize the presence of a problem in Zimbabwe.
The news from the ANC comes after the strike declared by the MDC in Zimbabwe was declared a failure secondary to increased police and military presence [as well as a need to work].
