BREAKING NEWS: MDC Wants New Elections

While writing about the passport fracas, the BBC just reported that the MDC wants fresh elections. Nelson Chamisa [spokesperson for the MDC] has stated that a new election would be a step further if the talks for a power sharing accord fails. Botswana has expressed its support for new elections in Zimbabwe. Jonah Fisher of the BBC Bureau in Johannesburg, South Africa who was reporting on the meeting declared that the situation in Swaziland between the two parties is "toxic".
