I've been writing about Sen. Ted Stevens, Rep. Don Young, and the cronyism, pork barrle waste, and downright yes, corruption, for years now. Finally, the chickens have come home to roost in a state that's broiling with intrique and controversy.
A federal grand jury has indicted longtime Senator Ted Stevens, Republican of Alaska, on corruption charges after more than a year’s investigation, a federal law enforcement official has confirmed to The Times’s David Johnston.
