Briant Rodriguez Missing, 3-year Old Abducted After Home Invasion
Briant Rodriguez, a 3-year old San Bernardino boy abducted after a home invasion, is still missing and authorities in Southern California have asked for the public's help in finding him before it is too late. His abductors have made no ransom demand and threatened to take Briant Rodriguez to Mexico to kill him in order to coerce the family into not calling police.
Six members of the family, including mother Maria Rosalina Millan, were tied up as part of a violent home invasion May 3, 2009. The thieves attempted to steal the family car and grabbed the 3-year old as a hostage when they were unable to make a quick getaway.
After an initial investigation Southern California Police have stated they are certain that this is a stranger abduction. Border guards and patrols have been put on full alert for little Briant Rodriguez in an abduction authorities describe as extremely rare.
"They grabbed my kid, told me 'I'm going to take the kid to Mexico and I'm going to kill him,'" the distraught Millan said in Spanish to reporters gathered in her front yard Monday night. "I said 'Why? Don't take my kid,' and he told me to 'turn around, I'm going to shoot you. Stop talking.'"
The motive for the abduction was unknown.
"There has been no demand for ransom, there has been no contact with the family," sheriff's spokeswoman Jodi Miller said Monday.
Briant Rodriguez's older brother, an 8-year old, freed himself and is family from the restraints and the police were called. Maria Millan had to run to a neighborhood liquor store to make the call as the robbers also stole her cell phone.
The family reports that Briant Rodriguez was crying and scared when he was snatched from his home. Anybody with information on this crime or the whereabouts of Briant Rodriguez are asked to immediately call one or all of the following:

And this mother is an illegal alien. The least she could do is speak our language for emergencies like this. How pathetic. I dont believe this was random.
