Old structures have a charm to them. Bridges in particular: they were from times past, took you to places where it was often not easy. And I come from a place where often a river barge crashes into a bridge pillar, disrupting life and flow of traffic for years.
So old bridges have a charm, like the bridge on the Canal Lachine: its old, rusty and a reminder of the old days where things seemed to built to last.
