Brigitte Bardot Has A Hate On For Muslims

Ahh...the sadness. Yet another Hollywood Icon destroyed by racism and ethnocentricity. Maybe Mel and Brigitte should talk...perhaps they can find a good Jewish psychologist.
French former film star Brigitte Bardot went on trial on Tuesday for insulting Muslims, the fifth time she has faced the charge of "inciting racial hatred" over her controversial remarks about Islam and its followers.Prosecutors asked that the Paris court hand the 73-year-old former sex symbol a two-month suspended prison sentence and fine her 15,000 euros ($23,760) for saying the Muslim community was "destroying our country and imposing its acts".
Since retiring from the film industry in the 1970s, Bardot has become a prominent animal rights activist but she has also courted controversy by denouncing Muslim traditions and immigration from predominantly Muslim countries.

Leonard Brody, I like this story. It's good stuff. Yeah, if one goes from the Worlds most beautiful woman 40 years ago, to a Seal hugger, I would be pretty pissed at the World as "Age is the Big Equalizer", and as I said in the photo "Brigette Bardot WHO??
The real story here is the action of the French government toward someone exercising her right to speak freely, just because one group doesn't like what she says. This happened to Mark Steyn in Canada, and it can happen very easily here in the USA.
Yep. It's perfectly OK to preach jihad, to attack Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Christians, the Western world--that's *not" racist nor xenophobic, it seems. That's free speech and is protected.
However, should someone like Bardot counter that--it's racist, xenophobic, and should not be allowed. CENSOR that kind of talk! How dare anyone voice their thoughts and feelings about Muslisms, radical Islamists, etc.?
If preaching jihad, making entire areas so dangerous police can't enter, demanding Sharia law, demanding that an "unclean" culture change, attacking that culture and people verbally, isn't promoting hate and discrimination, what is?
She has the right to exercise her free speech. If she loses, it's a clear signal: be careful that what you say suits Muslisms and radical Islamists. If not, you will be punished and silenced.
Certainly nothing against Free Speech, but she seems more jumping on the "Parisian Bandwaggonry" just to get in the media. Where was she during 9-11? I'll tell you where she was, laying around the Parisian house with newspapers strewn about with her 3 dozen cats and Olympic pool sized stench filled kitty litter box. As for me, Radical Islamic Nuts brought it upon themselves if people think of them as Ass bandits,truth hurts.

Why do you suppose her 'Icon' was destroyed? Maybe in your mind. I admire her courage in speaking out despite lawsuits. Truth can be painful.
This is a good story and a good topic - "Freedom of Speech". There was a time in my life when I could say almost anything I wanted to say within limits. Young people have no concept of what it feels like to have freedom of speech like I had in the "Fifties & Sixties".
We called each other names each day, but we did not hate each other. We were all different and we made fun of our differences and made jokes about what we looked like. We lived in peace with each other because we had the freedom to express our inner feelings. We were able to get along because we could talk to each other.
P.S. I use to make love to "Brigitte, if you know what I mean!
