The Prince graduates on 11 April from his four month RAF training learning to fly three different types of aircraft. He will take the RAF rank of Flying Officer and will be called Flying Officer Wales whilst with the RAF but remained under full command of the Army throughout his attachment (specifically the Household Cavalry Regiment) The attachment was part of a wider programme of events designed to prepare the Prince for his future role as head of the Armed Forces.
