Fee Not: London's biggest protest as students march for justice
The British Parliament is being rioted by angry students because of a new proposal to triple student tuitions. Tuition costs currently are at approximately $5000 per year and they want to raise it to $15,000 per year. Students have tried to break through the line of officers who are guarding the government offices. Shattered windows, small fires and aggravated beatings are taking place outside the parliament where thousands of students have gathered in front of the buildings where the votes are occuring today to decide new tuiton costs.
Some demonstrators used chairs seized from the lobby to smash more glass frontage, opening up the whole of the first floor to protesters. Riot police eventually managed to seal off the building and separate those inside from the 1,000-strong crowd outside, who threw sticks, eggs and other projectiles at the officers. In the street, cardboard signs were piled up for a bonfire and set alight.

Viva la revolution! Tuition is already ridiculously high in Britain. Oh right, lets just forget the fact that in America, they pay about 25, 000 dollars.... for one semester. But yes, lets hold a riot for having to pay $15, 000... a year. Complete and total sense! Now someone get me a baseball bat so I can smash in the head of a poor officer only trying to protect the politicians whom we elected to represent us.

Obviously current state of education shows up here with the lack of training in good English grammar. Education not worth the money anymore, since everyone is out of work, 'educated' or not.

Yeah right...Because 15,000 pounds (just got to correct that) are peanuts. You could come up with 15k pounds just like that, couldn't you? Don't think so...And otherwise let's see what those high fees in the USA afforded ... ah, hm... nothing, right? they're still stupid as hell..Why don't you just let them riot against the fee hikes? It's they're right, and if they destroy something? if it is violent? ... WHO CARES??
