Brown fumes over Muslims carrying 500 coffins to mock UK martyrs
A radical Muslim group in the United Kingdom is planning a massive protest that will challenge London's war policy in Afghanistan.
Anjem Choudary , whose group is an offshoot of the radical al-Muhajiroun movement, has caused anger by calling for members to parade through the Wiltshire town carrying up to 500 coffins symbolising the Muslim dead from the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan.
Local politicians have asked Choudary to abandon the protest and a Facebook site dedicated to preventing the march quickly attracted more than 120,000 members.
The U.K. suburb is also home to the latest business venture of former media tycoon, Eddy Shah. Not many people know but Shah could have been the spiritual leader of the world Ismailis, instead of Prince Karim Aga Khan had it not been for a decision of the Bombay High Court many decades ago. In that power struggle within his family at that time, several people were killed.
Shah and and the Aga Khan later buried their hatchets.
Shah's father Muchool J. Shah was himself a writer and intellectual and one of the finest gentlemen from the Indian subcontinent.
