Buenos Aires Train Crash: Video Emerges of Aftermath

49 people have been confirmed killed in a commuter train crash in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Buenos Aires train crash occurred during the morning rush hour on February 22, 2012.

Video footage from the aftermath of the Buenos Aires train wreck has emerged- you can see it below.

The train crashed into the end of the track at Once Station. Aside from the 49 people killed (originally reported as over 50), at least 550 were injured. The cause of the Buenos Aires train crash is unknown. The train was serviced on February 21, and had been braking normally until reaching Once Station.

Passengers said windows exploded as the tops of train cars separated from their floors. The trains are usually packed with people standing between the seats, and many were thrown into each other and to the floor by the force of the hard stop.
