What is the issue with this confidence building? We don't have confidence in the banks because they have so many bad loans on their books....Yet why do they have so many bad loans? Banks claim it is because they gave loans to people who could not make their monthly payments...

But whose fault is that when people are suddenly without a job? Who caused the job market to fail? The government? or the private sector?  I guess its probably a bunch of things..to include the war on terror.

Look at all the money they grabbed for the War in Iraq....in order to get in control of the Oil. Yet all that oil is not going to bring us confidence....because of Global Warming.. We know that the big fight on terror for the Oil resources was one of the biggest losers and failures our Government blindly went into.. Now we are to believe the Iraq government is going to be happy about this? They are sitting on one of the worlds largest oil supplies...and to think they are concerned about Global Warming? I highly doubt it....

And so this is a lack of confidence in the Govenment, rather than a bank confidence issue here. And since this is a Global concern what does the UN think about this problem?

Where do we draw the line between terror and Global Warming? Is Global Warming actually a terrorist attack? And if it is....how does it make sense that supply and demand has authority over terrorist acts that happen everyday, when you jump in your car?

How does Iraq lift itself from the throngs of War despair, while needing to rebuild or develop some sort of economic domestic continuity?  It needs to sell it's oil which means more terror to our environment. How can we support that? Here is the lack of confidence we have in the govenment.

Looking at the bad loans the banks have while knowing there are no jobs in the economy to support the loans in the first place is quite compelling. When we have jobs that can support loans to be paid on a timely manner we have real value and equity accountability. No jobs..means...no value and no real housing equity.....

But how do we get confidence for jobs? Our economy revolves on energy. If we have no real energy plan that stops the terrorism to the world creating Global Warming....this adds to this no confidence and lack of a sense to working when we know we are doing something bad to get something good..

In order to get real confidence humming in the US and in the world we need to have a plan of confidence in supporting an energy plan that does not contribute to Global Warming, while creating many jobs.....which supports the Real Estate Loans, so homeownership is achieved and keeps banks solvent and in trusting order to the public and each other.

It boils down to energy....the energy that solves this problem is Geothermal Energy Development.

The theory is that China has much labor to make Geothermal Equipment to provide around the world at quite inexpensive rates.  The equipment is used to make Geothermal Plants around the world... Geothermal is preferred to Nuclear Power, because Geothermal does not have waste that lasts for years such as the radioactive waste that they make depleted uranium from for bombs and bullets.

Once we tap into the core of energy we have below our feet...our confidence is soaring out of sight..... Things start to materialize such as bringing Geothermal Technology to Iraq, and Iran, and N. Korea, and other countries in the world in need of energy resources for people to power their homes with. When people are in their homes with power that uses Geothermal Energy this means banks have valuable property, and property assets remain stable...and the economy can grow....thus realizing the confidence factor.

We then educate the people to save the oil in the earth for other things instead of using for fuel...

Is confidence in the Banks or Government? I say neither....It is about supporting Geothermal Energy Development...Without it.....we are as we were in the the 1930's the Great Depression...

Let's provide  the 700 billion bank roll rescue plan not for the banks; but for Geothermal Energy Development....

Thanks Solarlife....It boils down to what energy we use, where we get it, and how it supports working families to support their mortgage obligations. Pretty simple.....but anything simple in the USA is totally ignored.....

I see this same thing happening with Social Security and Medicare...where the Government will be forced to bail them out as well.. This Financial Crisis was engineered to eventually derail and uproot Social Security.. and Medicare/caid.

The way to stop it is to boycott Wall Street, and get out of the Financial System in the USA. People only lose.... America is a losing proposition....because the banks are controlled by the politicians.

djermano, I like this story. It's good stuff. Thanks for posting- it would be good to have some links to geothermal info, but overall, imho, these are fair, positive and realistic ideas. I agree; the economy and the world's energy resources belong to the People, the same way air and water are public goods. Oil causes environmental pollution from pumping to driving, in addition to blowing multi-trillions on wars and conflict management in nations around the world. Plus it's running out even as world energy demand is increasing. The Federal Reserve debt based money system is secretive, unaccountable and managed by a power elite that profits from inflating and deflating the dollar. The Constitution authorizes Congress to coin money; We the People could own and control the monetary system- why should it be outsourced to war mongering banksters? Geothermal has enormous potential and so does solar, wind, wave, tidal and others. The commons needs to be managed for the public interest, and this will create all kinds of jobs, which will be good for the economy, the nation world and posterity.

Hope the people in the world see this real solution to our troubles.

Thanks Eric for the GS. ..I would provide geothermal info but it has nothing to the real core issue in finding money to do it. I am busy trying to set up a company here in PR China to do it, because I think making the Geo Equipment would be the answer. The cost would not be as high in comparison to making in the West. Geo development is by far the best because all the other alternative energy ideas have black spots, such as the wind doesn't blow everyday, and the sun doesn't shine at night. It is a secure 24-7 clean energy resource that can be depended upon for trade and transportation efforts. I envision the Alaska Russian bridge over the Bering Strait which would virtually connect all the major continents in the world except Australia. This means trains can ship goods from America across Russia, into China, India, Europe, and Africa. This means billions of jobs for people supporting around the world. It would square up the housing mess, because people will have jobs to make the mortgage payments. We are at the brink in our world development where we need to realize we need to make the jobs for the people to do....and we need leadership that addresses this. Why isn't Gordon Brown of the UK taking this opportunity? He follows right along Bush's crime gang, instead of stepping out into the fresh air for once.
