Bundesliga(German Soccer) - Matchday 16- Results and Standings

Matchday 16 was played from Friday December 11th through to Sunday December 13th.\

  Bayern Muenchen, which had a slow start to the season, managed a 5-1 win over VFL Bochum in an away game.  League Leader Bayer 04 Leverkusen only managed a tie against the the Leagues taillight Hertha BSC Berlin.  With one game left to go to the fallbreak on 2 points separate the top three teams.  There has not been much change at the bottom of the league, with Berlin far behind, pointwise, Stuttgart and Bochum, with Berlin having a total of 6 points, while Stuttgart and Bochum have 15.

Next week's final game before the fall break, could see any of the top three teams on top, however Leverkusen will have to lose.   FC Bayern Muenchen plays Berlin and should easily get three points at home. So it will be up to Leverkusen to gain at least one point to stay on top of the league and be name the unofficial Fall Champion.

I hate soccer, but I recommend it for those that have to bare the long Canadian nights. Possible when the favored team wins the jumping up and down could keep one warm. lol

Well I am just as much cut off here in the Japanese and snake infested jungles and I could watch it here if I wanted to bare the pain. No cable TV can be a pain, but take heart even the football matches are repeated. lol

My cable is wound a round a few coconut trees then connects to the spaghetti lines on the National Highway.   

Thankfully the Japs are tourist looking for the gold their fathers burried here during world war two. lol  But those damn snakes are messing with the ladders.

hahaha, we got to watch out for them snowsnakes too.  I hate it when they bite you when you.re skiing.
