As I mentioned previously in posts, the only reason for Burmas Military Junta to not allow Aid workers to distribute food to the starving masses is one reason and one reason only. "Propaganda" these "Shit for Brains Despots" looking to take all the credit for disaster relief, are plastering their names on all food and aid packages and like so many Santa Clauses are dispensing this Aid to the starving masses, letting the populace know in no uncertain terms it is "They" who are the true heroes to be revered.
Perhaps it is time for these "Puffed up Chicken Chested Genocidal Despots" the World Over to be wiped off the face of this earth in one fell Allied Military Sweep, with generous amounts of "Whup Ass!" While were at it, perhaps a stop into North Korea and Africa while we are at it.
Sad, Western Nations have to be the "World Police", pumping untold Billions and Billions in Aid to those who
allow Mass Starvation or Death caused by those who thumb their noses at a civilized society as they are allowed "Free Reign" while taking our Aid Money at a moments notice as their own personal piggy bank.
I would not have a problem with them taking a long Dirt Nap.
If world opinion is against all the above, then they are part and parcel in the genocide as well.
If the affected populace do not wish Western Nations to interfere, to fight and die to stop this corruption once and for all and wish us to do all the fighting and dying for them, then perhaps all Aid should stop immediately. Granted many will die, but just as many are dying anyway with our help. Better to see an end result instead of the ongoing Status Quo.
We have been propping up dictatorships for decades paying them not to kill or subjegate their own people. North Korea for example.
Once the Aid stops, then we'll see how far the despots army loyalty goes once they are fighting without a paycheque, food and bullets.
But then that is just my opinion, anyone got a better idea?

Burma's military regime has plastered boxes containing international relief supplies with the names of top generals.
State-run television continuously showed images of the country's top generals -- including Senior Gen. Than Shwe, the junta's leader -- handing out boxes at ceremonies.
The junta has so far refused to allow foreign experts to deliver aid to assist their country, ravaged by Cyclone Nardis, saying it will only accept donations and then take responsibility for distribution.
"We have already seen regional commanders putting their names on the side of aid shipments from Asia, saying this was a gift from them and then distributing it in their region," said Mark Farmaner, director of Burma Campaign UK.
