Burnt Quran found in California mosque parking lot
There have been half dozen Muslim hate crimes in California in recent months in the wake of the Fort Hood killings.
Muslims are the most fanatical about their Holy Book, called Quran, believing each and every word is unedited and directly from Allah and the incident has inflamed Muslim passions in the U.S.
However, many citizens in the West believe unless the passages that call for killing of infidels are omitted from the Quran, violenece and terror will prevail all over the world. They express their disgust at the Quranic teachings that say "kill in the name of Allah."
Though Sunnis say, the Quran is word by word what Allah revealed to their Prophet Muhammad, Shias who form about 20 percent of world Muslims say since the first collection of the scattered verses of the Quran took place during the reign of Caliph Omar, who was a staunch opponent of Mohammad's son-in-law and later caliph Hazrat Ali, he had destroyed at least 25 percent or ten of the 40 booklets that spoke about Ali's role in founding of Islam in the deserts of Arabia.
