Bus on fire in central Cape Town

A bus caught fire here right in front of our building in Central Cape Town yesterday mid-day. We heard a loud explosion, and when looking through the office windows, saw this bus with smoke emitting from its rear wheels. Within a matter of minutes it was engulfed in flames. The fire brigade arrived about 15 minutes after the incident started, and could not really safe much. 14 passengers and 2 drivers disembarked safely before the fire started. It is suspected that the engine blew, or that the fire was caused by a tyre burst.
