Leveraging his considerable experience in fighting negative emotions like 'terror', George W. Bush identified yet another ominous enemy of the state. This time it's not terror but 'uncertainty'.
WASHINGTON (AFP) - US President George W. Bush on Friday blamed "uncertainty and fear" for much of the global financial meltdown and insisted US authorities have the tools they need to confront the crisis.Worries are understandable but "anxiety can feed anxiety and that can make it hard to see all that is being done" to address the problem, he said, promising: "We can solve this crisis, and we will."
Always a man of clear thinking and decisive action Bush swore to defeat 'uncertainty' along with its ally 'fear'. This, it seems is the new Axis of Evil but given his successes in overcoming previous global emotional states I have no doubt that this will all soon be behind us. Phew!
