Guess Bush Jr, should talk to his Dad Bush Sr's former friendship with Despots and the US friendship with many Despots over the last few decades.  Many forget the US supported the Taliban in their war against the Russian Invasion in the 1980's, now that training is biting us in the Ass.

Who knows what Obama may find with Iran? Best to keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer!

Photos posted are US Presidents and US officials friendship with past dictators, one wonders if President Bush ever took World History?  These dictators compared to Hitler make Hitler a friggin Boy scout compared to the combined massacre these despots have bestowed on their own people.

Democrats outraged after president suggests that the candidate's pledge is akin to appeasement of Nazi GermanySteve Holland, ReutersPublished: Friday, May 16, 2008

WASHINGTON -- U.S. Democrats erupted in outrage on Thursday after President George W. Bush suggested a pledge by the party's presidential front-runner Barack Obama to meet Iran's leader was akin to appeasement of Nazi Germany.

Bush's comments, made in Jerusalem to the Israeli parliament during celebrations for Israel's 60th anniversary, stirred up the campaign for the November election and prompted Obama to accuse him of engaging in "the politics of fear."

"Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along," Bush said.

Barry Artiste, John Carey also did a story on this.  Bush Blasts Obama; Obama, Top Dems Respond worth the read as well.

Good work as expected.  Here is the thing, I read the transcript, and Obama was never mentioned. In fact, Bush didn't say any name.  Maybe he was alluding to Pres Carter.  I love that the Dems came out of the wood work to condemn Bush for saying this off of American soil.  Lets see, President Carter talks bad about the US, Spr. Pelosi went to Syria for talks, John Kerry has blased America.  I get it, if you are a Republican president you can't say anything about Policy overseas. LOL  The old saying in the south, " The hit dog barks the loudest".  Is about right here.

Who knows, Carter and the Shah were new best buds, before the Ayatollah hit town, leaving Reagan to clean up.

As for John Careys story, you know I check the site for the same stories and when I do not see them I post them, it would be nice if we had some sort of system that catches similar titles and notifies you so you do not post the same story twice, this way,. I may post just my Opinion portion.

Certainly Bush and the Republicans as well as some Democrats have that "MisRemembering Disease" when it comes to History and the US support of some regimes.

Wonder if elected, Hillary would make the Iran trip, sans Sniper rifle?

Thanks for your comments everyone, it is really appreciated.

As for Number #1, well....... don't know how I got there, and still do not know what the 23,000 number means beside my title, does anyone know?  Does it mean I have to pay everyone 23 grand or something?

I mean , do not get me wrong, I would if I had the money, but some Nigerian ladies say they have first Dibs on my bank account, since Jordan ain't sharing his wealth with them!

Again, thanks, it means a lot coming from my peers.

Thanks Politisite, coming from you, certainly you are a force to be reckoned with!

As Batman and  Family Guys Mayor Adam West states in his delusions,  Old Chum, you are a Worthy Foe, but when I strap on my SuperHero tights and Rhinestone disco boots, I am unstoppable in my peck and search reporting on my keyboard.

Barry, Congratulation to be the Golden One.

From your post ..."Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along," Bush said."...

Well Amir Sulliman, the Egyptian negotiator for a truce between Israel and the Hamas, is doing the job because the Hamas  don't want any direct negotiating with Israel. So Israel can't even persuade them directly on any  argument bad or good...and in Israel there many voices for direct negotiation wit the Hamas.

Barry Artiste, I like this story. It's good stuff.

Thank you Korzac for the kind words..If Obama does meet Iran head to head, perhaps he'll get back some intel on Iran, instead of CIA rumours and innuendo, course Iran's leader is a lil Fruitcake despot, but who know, maybe Obama may turn his head..like  "Snap"!!

I did a humourous story today on Bin Ladens threats against Israel if you are interested, and al Quaida
