Cal Trans May Be Responsible for Big Rig Truck Deaths
Apparrently, Cal Trans actually failed to install a runaway truck ramp that could have prevented thee two deaths that happened last night, and another accident occurred in September at the same location and the mayor of La Canada had warned about this last September.
LA CANADA-FLINTRIDGE, Calif. (KABC) -- A car-carrier big-rig truck coming down Angeles Crest Highway lost control and crashed through an intersection in La Canada/Flintridge Wednesday. The truck struck several vehicles before plowing into a book store. Two people were killed and seven were injured.

A Cal Trans Accident Attorney also wrote some news about this, confirming the worst. The brakes went out.
According to reports by La Canada Big Rig truck accident attorneys, a car-carrying big-rig truck took a short sut through a steep incline of Angeles Crest Highway in California, and the breaks went out, which caused the big rig truck to lose control. Apparently, Caltrans had failed to install a runaway truck ramp

There was a runaway truck ramp there for a long time but in the last 2 years the landscape was designed around the runaway truck ramp then the ramp was removed since it was not accessible anymore. Real smart.
