Calgary Police Respond To a Hostage Situation at A.E. Cross School in Calgary

A hostage-taking is occurring at a Calgary junior high school. Students at A.E. Cross School at 37 St. and 33 Ave in Calgary have reportedly been cleared out of the school. 

However, a school secretary is still believed to be held hostage by a former school.

Local police have the school surrounded. The hostage incident began at around 1:45 pm local time.
