CALIFORNIA MONSTER PV SOLAR FARM

$ 1 bn investment would create world's largest
PV photovoltaic electricity power plant
in California.

Simple design for service free operation .
OptiSolar driving the idea to market.
OptiSolar has kept a low profile and has said
little about its technology or how efficent it is,
other than that it uses just 1% of the silicon
needed in conventional solar cells.
Construction should begin 2010.

Without public awareness education program
the project may encounter difficulties.
It may for sure be challenged by developping
a non existing smart power grid logistic for
550 Mw injecting in a high Voltage grid.
Looks like a "AT&T long distance call network"
has to be invented for super solar power.

Stealth Bay Area solar startup OptiSolar has quietly revealed plans to build the world’s largest photovoltaic solar farm on the central California coast — a $1 billion, 550-megawatt monster that would be nearly 40 times as large as the biggest such power plant operating today.
