As a motorcycle accident lawyer, I come across a lot of interesting fact patterns, but this is one of the saddest and weirdest ones yet.  A motorcycle racer was shot by a hunter.  Check out the story.

According to reports by a renowned motorcycle accident lawyer in Los Angeles, a motorcycle racer from California was shot while in Northern Mexico and identified as Steve Martz. According to lawyer and family friend Oscar Ramos stated that Martz is recovering in a border city of Tijuana hospital.

Martz was shot in the abdomen while riding his motorcycle with friends in the area of Valle de Trinidad in Baja California. Ramos went on to state they believe Martz was shot by a hunter by mistake and that it was an unfortunate motorcycle accident.

Martz is known for being part of a team that participated in the Class 22, in the open pro motorcycle events and finished fifth. According to Ramos Martz was not registered in the race this year and was riding with friends when the incident occurred.

Always safer to ride in areas designated for OHV's.  Mexico is just not safe.
